TextWords.Item

Property Item(Index As Long, [Count As Long = 1]) As TextRange

Description

The Item property returns a read-only reference to a specified word. It is the default property of the TextWords class.


Parameter	Description
Index	Specifies the preset placeholder that uniquely identifies each member of the TextWords collection
Count	Specifies the number of words. This parameter is optional, and its default value is 1.

VBA example

The following VBA example creates paragraph text and applies bold formatting to the first word, underlines the fourth word, and fills the seventh and eighth words with red.
